Founded in 2024 by the Confident Group of Companies, under the leadership of CEO Rakshith Shetty, the team made its mark at the prestigious Bangalore Golf Club (BGC). From its inception, the vision was clear—to bring together a dynamic group of golfers, create a formidable force on the course, and aim for championship glory.
The Journey to Glory
In its debut year, Confident Par Tee set a bold goal: to
compete at the highest level in the Bangalore Golf League
(BGL) 2024. With 20 teams battling for the coveted trophy,
the competition was intense, and the road to victory was
anything but easy.
Under the inspiring captaincy
of Dilip Kumar, the team was meticulously assembled through
a strategic auction and draft process. A handpicked squad of
19 talented players was brought together, each chosen for
their unique skills and ability to contribute to the team’s
overall game strategy.
A Rocky Start: The first round was a setback, with the team
struggling to find its rhythm, landing at the bottom of the
league standings. A Strong Comeback: Undeterred by the
initial challenge, the team regrouped, refined its game, and
rose to the top by the third round, securing a third-place
finish in the qualifier round.
The Grand Finale: With the championship at stake, Confident
Par Tee rose to the occasion at the Bangalore Golf Club. The
team delivered a masterclass performance, saving their best
for the final showdown, and emerged victorious as the
champions of the BGL League 2024.
Making History
Confident Par Tee etched its name in history by winning the
prestigious BGL League Trophy in its very first year of
participation. This triumph was not just a victory but a
statement—a testament to the dedication, strategic planning,
and unwavering belief of every team member.
